First world problem and all that, but I've had a few stone chips in the windscreen from day one of buying the car a couple of years ago.

I recently had them all repaired. One was right in the drivers line of sight, but i never really noticed it too much.

I think it was quite an old chip, as some debris had filled the hole that was left although it was a very small chip.

I was hoping that the repair would at least hide some of the chip, but if anything it now looks worse, almost like a small bug splatter.

It is really very small (probably only a few mm), but because of where it is, it does bother me somewhat.

The guy is adamant that the debris was so small that it couldn't be removed, - am i expecting too much?

I know the answer is probably live with it as it's so small, but my OCD won't let me do that unfortunately! rolleyes

There's no point in my uploading a picture, as you can't really see it on any photo

The trick is to place something next to the damage to help with the image resolution and AF.

Examples here. <-- clicky.
