Starting to get interested in the Golf R 20i version
Discussion
Has anyone on here owned one / still own one?
They seem to be great value cars, looking at the £10k to £12k range. Quite a few with the important work done as well (chains, DSG etc)
Not a BMW and that's the biggest bit I'll struggle with; but other than that, they're a well known car from a well known brand etc
I work from home, so it'll be a weekend car; but one I'd put my touch to (so fully overhaul the brakes, suspension and cooling system (if required) etc - and then maybe tinker with the tuning etc
What are they like to work on and what are parts costs like as well?
Cheers
