Bought a fine bottle of red for a friend's birthday but the bottle has a hairline crack and is leaking slightly. Received full refund but was wondering if there is any safe way of drinking it without risking ingesting glass.. All suggestions welcome is currently in the sink while I decide what to do! Flushing it all down the plughole would seem wasteful.

Shouldn't be too difficult to decant it into something else and filter it in the process, a bit of kitchen towel would do it if you want to catch everything.

Plus if you've decanted it into something else then nothing is going to fall out as you pour, glass is heavy and will just sit with the dregs at the bottom.

Strain it through a muslin cloth or a tea towel if you dont have a piece of muslin.
Leave the last 20ml in the bottle
If it doesnt taste great buy some brisket and use it to make a stew.

If wine can get out, air can get in, so likely won't taste good unless the crack is very recent

D you have something like a coffee filter you can pass it through? That will take out any glass.

This will work best. Cloth is not fine enough to guarantee that glass splinters are 100% removed. Chances are it would be fine but I wouldnt want to risk it.
