Sardinia - where to stay near Olbia

We have 5 nights in Sardinia in July, flying in from Rome where we'll have done 3 nights in Florence then 5 nights Rome.
We want somewhere we can relax, ideally a half board hotel, nice promenade, some shops, attractions and restaurants/ bars.
After the prior 8 nights we're not interested in having a car to get around so need to be a reasonable taxi from the airport.

Any advice on areas or hotels would be hugely appreciated.
