Hi all, what insurers do you use, In my car it will be for a 570 spider?
Only one that is coming out as decent presently is admiral who are a good 1/4 the price of everyone else. Are admiral any good?
Also do any of your have agreed value policies, if so who with and how did you go about getting the value signed off?

Thank you, sounds like Admiral it is then
I’ve been with them on/off since 2019, covering two 720S and now 650S. About three years ago, they tripled the premium (not just for me). No reason given, just the way it is. I went somewhere else but got a great price from them for the 650S earlier this year so returned. They do seem to be a lot cheaper, which does raise some questions. But there are others who have had successful claims.I’ve been a bit unlucky over the last couple of years with people smashing in to my; right offs, hit and runs, etc.
Admiral great to deal with on all occasions.
Had an issue with a cracked variable light roof on my Porsche last month. Warranty battle with Porsche knocked back ad they stated and stuck to a micro stone chip causing the issue. £8k+ cost.
Admiral authorised replacement at Porsche body shop as a glass claim with no impact on no claims, etc in 3 days.
Zero qualms over and just £125 excess.

Yep.
I think most people are surprised to find that when I had my total loss claim, Admirals approved repairer was an official McLaren body shop (M&A) which is where I was wanting the car to go anyway.
Also, to my surprise - total loss claim made no difference to my premiums. I guess protected no claims helped, but it stayed the same the following year and plummeted the next two (and wasn't high to start with)
