Are you missing the manual key cover?
Discussion
During a recent inspection and service, Jack Webb Motorsport noticed that my 650S still had an original key cover in place. Apparently, they tend to be missing due to a weak retaining clip. The cover protects the manual lock from general road sh!t and wet causing it to seize etc. the manual lock is there in the event of electric failure. They soon had it off and ‘borrowed’ it. They’ve used it to design an alternative cover with a stronger clip.
They’ve made a few in black, which can be painted. The cover is located beneath the left side sill, so is not visible unless up on ramps - not worth painting it TBH.
