Coverless Duvets

Never heard of them, but a quick google, and they don't look too expensive? Maybe worth a punt? What are your concerns? I assume she has bouts of overheating?
We live in Italy, in a house that gets pretty warm in the summer, we just go down to the thinnest duvet we have (A really cheap, thin ikea one) then when that's too hot, we go to just the cover, or a flat sheet. If that's too much we have very small, very quiet battery fans. The problem I find is wanting no insulation, but the feeling of comfort from being covered. Once it's too hot for that, I'm probably not sleeping whatever i do.

Somewhere for you to go and hide for an hour or 2 will help her the most A car to tinker with in the garage helped us get through it. It doesn't matter what you do or say, it will be wrong. Then half an hour later all will be fine again, for a while. Has anyone got any reviews or feedback on them ?

On a more serious note we have a lightweight quilt and seperate single ones on top so we can choose how much quilt we want. It seems to be working well been using this method for about 15 years now.

On the duvet front, we recently bought an 8ft bed and have separate duvets. It works really well as I’m always cold during the night.

What issue are you trying to solve? Wool duvets are said to regulate temperature better than man-made fibres.Has anyone got any reviews or feedback on them ?

I'd love to solve them all for her but its one at a time. The night sweats & the body temp regulation, she sometimes feels better with no cover on the Duvet but that leads to arguments as i'm dead against it. So i thought these duvets would be a compromise, i can see 2.5 4.5 & 10.5 togs in themhttps://www.baavet.co.uk/
If these work a bit then its worth the punt as they arent expensive
Was really looking to see if anyone had them & they done the job.

I disappear into the garage or the shed & tinker, 30 mins later she's in asking what i'm doing .. You cant win

Alternative idea: go Scandewegian/Continental & have two individual duvets on the bed so she can chuck hers off & you can stay comfortable. Apparently it can be a game-changer.

It does end after a few years, but relapses still occur 15 years in. We had one the other week, she just went a bit nuts for a day or 2. She is aware it has happened and is back to her normal self again. But the temperature management is still tricky somedays.
Spare room was working very well for temperature control until we stayed in a hotel with the extra large bed and two duvets. I guess it’s just part of getting older. At least I’m very easy to live with
We have a couple of them for summer as well as 2 expensive normal duvets with either Egyptian cotton or bamboo sheets, they are brilliant.
Great for temperature and especially the fact it can't bunch up and leave empty corners etc.
Stick it in the washing machine as you would with the sheets.

I've got Fogarty duvet and pillows that's much more affordable. Mattress is a John Lewis wool one...
I use a wool duvet as well. It s weirdly thin but comfortable all year round. Noticeably less clammy than polyester filled duvets.
Is your duvet cover cotton? An unprinted 100% cotton or linen cover will help as well. Mixed polyester / cotton duvet covers are clammy. Printed designs can make them clammy.
Getting 2 single duvets, each catered for your own preferences will help. The Mrs sleeps cool and I sleep hot. Her wool duvet is twice the weight of mine, although still very thin (read breathable) compared to a polyester duvet for its tog rating.
Can get temperature regulating mattress toppers with active cooling if you want the nuclear option, although I would try bedding made from natural fibres in the first instance to act as a good foundation.
