Odd boat rocker switch question
Discussion
My boat has a holding tank, which can be emptied either by vacuum at the dock or by an overboard expulsion.
To do the overboard expulsion, 2 rocker switches must be pressed and held at the same time to engage the pump that pumps it out.
One of the rocker switches is seized-it will work under loads of pressure, but needs replacing, but I need it working and I have no spare.
My question is, can I wire the 2 switches to the one switch that is working fine? They are wired in parallel for info.
Thanks

Alot of boats have a switch panel with fuses built in, because they are directly supplying power to the accessory (pump), rather than activating a relay.
If this is the case it may blow the fuse in the switch you are using if it runs 2 pumps. You could access the back of the panel, disconnect the 2 +ve wire on either side of the dud switch (leave the -ve wire alone it is just for the led in the switch) and put them together to bypass the switch for today. Aliexpress have pretty good replacement switch/fuse panels.
