It's not been possible to log into Lloyds group online banking or their banking App for 3 hours now.

Farage won't care, he's with Coutts...

A true man of the people, he banks at the toffs' private bank, part of NatWest.

That depends on what you were about to do with your banking services. For some it will have a major impact.

Nothing that can't be sorted in time. Such drama.

Mrs BC is about to buy an expensive dress using her Lloyds credit card this morning (we’re in Florida). With any luck the transaction might fail. evil

Depends whether you are trying to buy a house or not, or see whether an invoice that is overdue has been paid or not. Some things are time critical, and apps going down can be indicative of bigger problems in the back end systems.

Do people not have backups/alternatives?

I bank with NatWest/RBS, but also have a Lloyds, Chase and Revolut account.

And sometimes when card machines are down, I can still pay by cash that I carry, being an adult and all that. biggrin

I’m alright Jack. So if you were planning on sending £10k you would have that available in all accounts and in cash just in case?
