My first post here. No long honks please
So, I recently hit a trash can while reversing like a bloke and broke my right tail light with scratches under it. Ordered the new light from eBay and should be getting it soon. With that said, I visited a local body and paint work shop (says accident repair) for the quote and he said 300 quids & car parked for the whole day with the garage. Now I have insurance but I will pay out of pocket.
Its the first time giving to a garage in the UK, since I have always got these kind of things done from either Honda Service centers or places like Firestone in US. Is it fine to give your car for a day to a local respray shop? I have anxiety what if they switch original parts for my Top end but showroom approved vehicle. Is it worth considering or just an overreaction?
