Isn t it due to be decommissioned in the 2-3 years anyway?
Maybe they ll bring that schedule forward a bit if it s a bit leaky (assuming that they can just close off the module in question for the time being)?
Quite possibly. The challenge for the US is that only the Chinese will have an operational Space Station in orbit and any commercial alternative is at least 2 years away (I think Vast might beat Voyager) and of course no immediate prospect of any humans on the Moon.Maybe they ll bring that schedule forward a bit if it s a bit leaky (assuming that they can just close off the module in question for the time being)?
Thought I read that a moon colony is planned for 2032?
(No, I don t think it will happen either)
Edit - Moon base, not colony - https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/articles/c152yzpyw...
