Sadly I think this will be the catalyst to finally end the problem, I think it's been rocky since the invasion of Ukraine. If they are evacuated I can't see them returning

Yeah agreed. I think they’ve been talking about decommissioning it for a while - this might just accelerate that process I suppose

Talk about headline inflation. They're just taking basic precautions while someone does a repair that has a small chance of causing a bigger problem. If someone's about to do something that's even a little bit risky, the rest get themselves into the safe corner just in case.

Yup the headline is for clicks, the actual story is basically "astronauts waiting in the car while some repairs are done"
