For one glaring moment I thought he was the star of Ted Lasso, until I googled the name and saw who it actually is.

I remember from Buffy but don't watch Ted Lasso so didn't know he was in it until this post.

A shame - but very close to his wife's death. I wonder if there was simply no desire to carry on?

Very sad to hear. I’ll always remember him in Buffy and Manchild.

Manchild was an amusing show opposite Havers and Don.
Famously Mr Gold Blend, he was a real shock to be cast as Giles in Buffy. And as Rupert he pretty much stole every scene he was in for Lasso, which I think was there basic point.

Will be missed.

He was great as King Uther Pendragon in Merlin. I only saw that show for the first time a few years ago.

Was randomly watching music videos on Youtube when this song, which I didn't recognise at first comes on. And then suddenly a familiar face appeared. Good Lord, I didn't know Anthony Head was in a music video!

Only it's not him but his very much lookalike brother, Murray.

I didn t know that either, but I do know the song. It s from Chess a Tim Rice / ABBA collaboration West End musical. The same musical that produced the Elaine Paige / Barbara Dickson song, I know him so well.

I did know they were related. Heard it somewhere many years ago.

I believe Murray Head was in the original production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Anthony Head was in a later production of Rock Horror.
