I actually had a ticket to see them in Manchester but ended up not going because i decided it was too much like hard work. And well, Manchester for me is actually too much like hard work for me (not that I live that far away, it's just that public transport from the west of the city is utterly w
k). So now, even if there's someone I want to see, and they are on in Manchester, I don't bother.

So now, even if there's someone I want to see, and they are on in Manchester, I don't bother.Van Halen - twice in the early 90s, they were playing in Sheffield whilst I was living there as a student. The first time I was flat broke and struggling to buy food (I know, where was my commitment!), the second time I was on a field trip that I needed to attend in order to pass the course. And that was it for VH in the UK.
