Nissan Xtrail 2023 KR15DDT disintergrated

Hi all new to this but need help.
My Xtrail eforce epower with KR15DDT has blown up and Nissan are refusing to cover the cost as i was 1100 miles out on first service and 600 out on second service ,both times was because the dealer couldnt fit me in.
The car has 29000 miles on it was MOTd with 28054 .
The car has never requested a service and Nissan have always called me.
I had just come off the motorway and down to 30mph ,it started ticking and grinding with no warning lights at all until i got an amber speed reduced warning followed by a bang and a smell of oil.
I know there has been recalls across the globe on the engine and apparently the engine fails even if comprehensively serviced .
I just dont know how to take them on ,any advice would be helpful.
