Going to have 2 free days here in a week or so. Anyone been? Not interested in the racing circuit and museum, not my thing. Good cheap places to eat downtown? I've heard it's a great city to explore by bike, so maybe see if I can hire one.

Any personal experiences of eateries and stuff to do.

Not much help, but I'll bump you to the top of the list

I go there occasionally for work, never spent time in Indy myself other than the Speedway but popular spots in the surrounding area with colleagues include the aviation museum at Dayton, mountain biking in brown county (hiring a bike in Nashville) or visiting Bloomington.

I think there's a square in Indy that does horse drawn carriage rides if that's your thing!
