I have had a 986 with Paul recently. He has restored my faith in motoring humanity. I have had dealings with most of the Porsche indies in the Surrey area in recent past, and I do not have an axe to grind with any of them.
However...Meeting Paul was a game changer. I dropped it off with a coolant leak. He instantly broke the third wall that I had always experienced when dealing with other people who I trust.
He put my car up on his lift and took me through it, forensically. I was also part of the process because I was under the car with him.
First invoice was surprising in a good way. Communication throughout was transparent.
Paul had identified other issues with the car and I just left it with him to sort. I have now got a 986 S that drives like it is new. I have too many cars and I was thinking about moving this one on but it's now a keeper because I know I can rely on Paul
