Early G Model love
Discussion
A few years ago I met the owner of this early 2.7 G Model and his son. He owned the car for decades and worked on it at the street. It's a pretty thing with a few add-ons like the pretty Ruf bumper.

Waiting for the ferry across the river.

Klaaswaal lunch.

Ruf bits look good. Red suits the car.

A later 3 litre G offers the promise of more sportiness. A 3.2 can be a real beast. But an early 2.7 (150-175ps) is an understated and good looking agile car which is a joy to throw around. I followed this red one in my twolitre AR 147 and could keep, racing the Dutch polders and dykes with speeds up to 90mph. I noticed braking was a thing in the Porsche.
