Borg Warner T-10 4spd gearboxes?

Hi everyone can I have some help please?
I’m looking for a T-10 4spd BorgWarner box
to fit a ‘64 motor. Are all T-10’s the same -
can I fit one from a later / earlier year? Has
anyone rebuilt a T-10 & if so where do you get
spares from? I saw in my Corvette manual the
Muncie is that the same size as the T-10? Lots
of questions & a car in bits! Any help really
appreciated.

- Not all fit. Need the early '64-specific input shaft (10-spline, short nose). Later ones are longer/thicker.
- Muncie bolts right in same size, same mounts, stronger box.
- Parts: Summit, Jegs, or AutoGear. Skip cheap bearing kits.
- Rebuild: Easy enough, but watch the snap rings and shift-fork balls they'll fly out.

If your T-10's junk, just swap in a Muncie. Cheaper than fixing a broken T-10.
