Are we getting bored ?

Seems to have been a distinct lack of traffic on the forum this year. Have the last 2-3 years overcrowding put people off going / getting involved?

It’s definitely appears to be getting much busier (although official figures indicate about the same as last year). The experience is changing but our group is adapting how we do things, but boring it isn’t

350k there according to the official website …a huge crowd and it felt like it, everywhere was rammed on Sat and Sunday . Was my first visit so nothing to compare to but I was glad for the grandstand seats (and the shade!) to watch the opening pomp and ceremony, first hours racing and then last 90 mins or so. I walked around a fair bit but only having GA ticket would be tough going in that heat and those crowds. Absolutely loved the overall experience tho such a special sporting event I will probably go again next yr!
