Pretty sure I know the answer to this question.

I'm looking at 230 miles a day in an EV, there will be the possibility of charging on site for free but the car will need a good charge overnight.

Is it cost effective to shell out £1500 for a charger install?

Possibility for free onsite, sounds a bit risky?
(had at my old company, often blocked by selfish twonks..)

£1500 install is on the high side?

I’d get a home charger & decent tafiff like iog.
300 miles for £5 & under your control.

Yes. For peace of mind and convenience if nothing else.

Is that £1500 a price you’ve actually been quoted?

Depends on the install I know, but they can be installed for around £600-700.
