Hi everyone having had my DB9 run very well on my Spain/Portugal trip I have the slightest hint of a misfire on idle.
The fuel economy hasn't changed nor performance and it is only a gentle hint, I'm probably panicking over nothing.
Has anybody had this kind of problem.
Has anyone had a full plugs and coil pack change and how much is it likely to cost.
Many thanks in advance for advice

You probably aren't, and it would be best to get that fixed as soon as reasonably possible.

At least find someone who can read misfires so you know what's actually going on.

The OE coils and plugs are about £1500 plus labour depending where you go, could be another £1000 at main dealer

And the labour involves taking the inlet manifolds off... and some places will insist on new manifold gaskets at £200... so not something to be done if it's not needed.

Bought 8 coils from an aftermarket company called fire something I forgot 5 years ago for my 4.3 Vantage, coils I'm certain are the same for V12, still going strong and I drive really hard

Can anyone confirm the coils are the same for both the V12Vantage and the V12 Vantage S?

On the V12 I think it depends on model year as 2 part numbers are listed for coil packs, for the later cars https://www.astonstore.co.uk/product/ed23-12a366-a...

Thanks Bogie that answers it - they aren’t right for the 2012 V12
