Hi there - such great cars. Can you advise if the VANOS has been seen to, nd when the last service was?

Thanks!

I would be AMAZED if it needed a bank’s replacement at 46,000 miles so no it hasn’t.
It was serviced about
1000 miles ago.
Hope this helps.

Hi

Do you have any receipts for oil services other than the service intervals listed as there is many years between services.

Thank you

Morning, I will probably have the receipt (possibly) for the parts when the oil was last changed (a few years ago) but it has done only a couple of hundred miles a year so hasn’t needed changing. I used to build race engines for a living and had my own work shop/car sales business so I have had the wheels off and made sure the brakes are free before the MOT each year. A few days ago I noticed some cracking on the P.A.S and auxiliary belts so have just changed them.
I hope this helps.

As this is V Reg and a Pre facelift, you can get the the Certificate of conformity from BMW GMBH and it'll show you the emissions. You can take this document and send to TFL and ask them to make it compliant to ULEZ as the emissions more than meet the minimum regs for Euro 4 compliance.

Only takes a couple of e-mails and the new owner will be able to drive in ULEZ zones without paying the levy. I did the same to my 2000MY M5. Hope this helps with your auction.
