I know nothing art these..

Our Starlink broadband is great downstairs, but in the wife's office upstairs she sometimes has difficulty getting good signal when on Teams calls etc.

So, in layman's terms please, what device can I buy to boost the signal, and would it connect to wirelessly to the Starlink router, just needing a 3 pin plug?

If you have little knowledge try a powerlink setup of some kind.

For me i would run a lan cable and repurpose an old router as an Access point. but that will take some understanding and tinkering.

Ideally you would put it halfway between the office and the starlink router, I boosts the signal rather than magically working where there’s minimal coverage

Thanks, I ll give that link a read

I recall using home plugs many many years ago in our previous house.

So could I have one power link near my router downstairs and one on the same ring main but say in the hallway, and would that one allow devices upstairs to possibly connect to it wirelessly ?

Basically that's what it will do. Put a WiFi plug thing upstairs and a wired one near the router.

Thank you

The upstairs bedroom that needs the wifi boost is on a separate ring main to the router downstairs, so do you think one of these would help if I place one near my router with Ethernet cable, and the other in the hallway at the bottom of the stairs to send the wifi to the upstairs bedroom
