Hi fellas,

So it's getting closer to that time of year again - and the misses is planning out her Xmas list and asking me what type of "thing" I want for a gift.

She (rightly) complains that anyone who has their own Ferrari can already buy what they want - and most driving experiences fall short of our regular run to the shops.

Has anyone got any good ideas about what to ask for? (after world peace, etc...)

Cheers,

Joel

A Ferrari 600 Imola/Testarossa.

I know Santa won't be able to deliver it until quite late in the year, but I'm happy to wait.

i think that i have been a good boy this year (mostly!) so i would like a 575M HGTC in red with scuderia shields full composite brakes with the calipers sprayed red and a loud tubi exhaust........ dunno how old st nick'll get it down the chimney!

(but if he can't get one on time a TVR Tuscan will be fine!)

in reality i'll probably end up with a few DVD's and the usual pants and socks. hey ho beggars can't be choosers!

Actually, all I REALLY want for Christmas is season 2 of Miami Vice on DVD (comes out early December).

I know it was a fake, but it's the reason a Ferrari Daytona will always be on my list of dream cars. I'll settle for a coupe, but it has to be black with a black n' tan interior.

:

for the man how has everything eh?

a brace of hookers
an unsual event (like ariwalking or similar)
the head of an extinct tribe of pygmies?
an over-revved london cruisers ferarri cambelt?

personally, in this isutation, i would recommend going for small quality items, which maybe could be made or engraved specially for you. like a really nice leatherman mini scarab or a ferarri tie (if they cost the same as Lmabo onse that's a whole present in itself...we'll ignore the fact that ties are f**king crap things), or some aston martin leather perforated boxer shorts! (really!)

Hopefully not just like the normal trip to the shops!

Not really, just getting to that point in life where material things become meaningless to some extent. Each to their own I guess.

Anyway, to wish one all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Proprous New Year...... it's not long away.

Before I log off, have any of you every wondered why we put a fairy on the top of the christmas tree?

In years gone by, Father Christmas would go out on his sleigh, and deliver Christmas trees all over the world, one particulary cold, wet miserable Christmas, Father Christmas returned to his den at the North Pole.

Throughly soaked, cold, and generally pissed off, he took off his wet boots and socks, and thankfully lowered his cold feet in to a nice bowl of hot water.

Poured himself a nice generous hot toddy, and took a good measure.

The little fairy said in here little squeeky voice

"Father Christmas"
"Yes little fairy", said Father Christmas,
"There is one tree left on the sleigh, where shall I put it?"

He told her in no uncertain terms, and to this day she sits on the tree.....

You probably have enough 'stuff' already. I know I do. So get her to buy you a herd of goats or a cow or a well for an African village. It does someone else some good and won't clutter your house up with crap you don't need.

sorry dude...you misunderstood...my 'for the man who has everything' comment was aimed at th original poster seeing as that seems to be his dilemma.

I was making the rude gestures at your requirements for world peace...but Im a cynical bugger!

Happy Xmas!

1)Ask Steve (Trackdemon) to do a photoshoot of your car (with you/your wife/both if you want).
2)There *will* some exceptional shots in the series
3)Have it blown up to A3 on photographic paper and get it framed.

Kevin

PS loved the story of the fairy on the Christmas tree!
