Tuscan Challenge Champions in Blackpool

Meet CDL Racing at the De Vere Hotel Blackpool on 22 November 2002 @ 7pm - 9pm in the car park.

CDL have kindly offered to meet with TVRCC members and TVR enthusiasts. They will set up thier Race Truck and awning in the De Vere car park, with a Tuscan Race car for you to look at, ask questions, take photo's. Team Boss Bert and Drivers will be available to give a short overview on the Tuscan Challenge and CDL.

They are a top bunch of chaps with really well prepared cars and Steve is a worthy Champion (AGAIN - see profile for reason why!!) They also made time for TVR Mania which was good.

Hi folks,
C.D.L. are from my region, Essex, and have been to one of my meets.
They are a great bunch of guys, always willing to chat and answer any questions on the cars and the racing and let you take photos.
This would be a great chance to meet the drivers and if you have that evening free it's well worth taking the time to go meet the guys.

Not wishing to widdle on anyone's bondie, but I have some recollections of the DeVere hotel that go something like.... 15 quid a head for stodgy canneloni and cold manky chips, plus a pint of watered-down piss and a glass of the EU wine mountain for 4p less than a fiver.... I wouldn't go there again if there were awards for doing so.
Had I known a TVRCC get-together would have been such a rip-off, I might not have bothereed that time either.

I'll certainly put something on the home page but to be honest I think you'll be lucky to get people out of the pub on a winter's Friday night in Blackpool!

Arrangements have been made for the T350C to be on display on Friday along with the CDL Race Team, thanks to Mr Bert Taylor of CDL, John Reid and Jason at TVR.

It may be cold, wet here in Blackpool, but if you missed the chance to see this fantastic new TVR at the Motorshow here's your chance to get up close.

Friday 22 November at the De-Vere Hotel Blackpool between 7-9 pm.

Wrap up warm it outside.
