Microsoft extend Windows 10 updates (again)

I see from Tech Radar that Microsoft has extended Windows 10 updates for another year, and this is for ordinary users not just big commercial users.
It isn't relevant to me as I jumped ship a while ago, but it might be of interest to anyone still running Windows 10.

How do you get this? I checked for updates the other day and it said there were none because I was out of support.

MS now supplying security updates until Oct 2027 - great news for a couple of machines in my house!

Thats good news. Its taken the pressure out of migrating to Ubuntu for a while longer on a whole load of old hardware that I have at home.

Maybe the migration to Win11 compatible hardware is taking longer than expected.....
