Couldn't see what it was, but got a bit of debris fly up off the A1 the other day, which has put a couple of good dents / scuffs in my bonnet, and even punched a small hole in it.

Looking for somewhere that will do a good job / perfect colour match. Don't mind if they have to spray the whole bonnet, as it is quite stone chipped, so needs a bit of smartening up.

Will decide whether or not to go through insurance or take the hit myself when I get a rough idea of prices from two or three places.

It's a bit further North but Finishline in Gravely (near Stevenage) did my bonnet, couple of expensive cars there when my car was in (Lamborghini and Aston).

Yep, Finishline for me too. Just did a great job repairing and painting a front splitter for me. Used them for years. Not cheap, but the results are consistently good.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I went to Finishline, and although not cheap, it was a very quick and easy process. Courtesy car included.

They did a decent job, I can just about spot the repair if I look really hard, but that's because I know where it is. The colour match though is perfect, and that's the bit I was really concerned about.

Would definitely use again, although obviously hope I don't need to. Chris just gave me the confidence that he knew what he was talking about and that there would be no vagaries or messing about.

Brian Robson's in St. Albans wanted £45 just to give a proper written quote, then with a bit of chin rubbing and teeth sucking gave me some vague verbal quote which would have worked out about £500 quid more than Finishline.

BMC in Kings Langley - was cheaper but was also a bit vague about the price, saying it would be different depending on whether I did it through insurance or paid for it myself. Also a bit vague on how they would actually do the repair. They've got some good reviews, but I'm glad I went with Finishline.
