Left turn indicators working but not on dash or beeper
Discussion
Hi all, I think possibly the heat has messed with my electrics while I’m away at Spa for the GT challenge. So I first noticed when turning the steering to the right about 45deg a quick indicator beep sounded. Then later turning left into the circuit it seemed the indicator didn’t work. On further inspection the outside indicator lights all work and cancel as do the hazards but there’s no beep or left dash indicator. I’ve been under the dash and in the dial binnacle, checked ribbon cables are secure, looked under the rubber steering shroud and all looks connected well. My guess is something in the column cancelling gadget. Bit concerned I will be driving along thinking my indicator is off when it’s on. Any thoughts much appreciated?
There's a bit in the workshop manual about setup

Or it could be your ribbon cable in the steering wheel, they break occaisionaly
Does this help?
There's a 10 pin and a 5 pin and you can put them the wrong way around... I've drawn on mine with permanent pen so I know orientation.

Turn signal switches go through the 5 pin plug
