Races come thick and fast over summer, and we re already in Silverstone for a Sprint weekend.
It s a great circuit to see what an F1 car can do (even if visibility is a bit limited if you re attending in person) and after Austria it could be a cracker. Mercedes will be right up there, and maybe Max too after Red Bull s successful upgrades in Austria. Both McLaren and Ferrari will be wanting a better race weekend, but they will likely be too draggy/out of puff to feature at the sharp end.
Max gets my vote for the win. As an aside, Red Bull Racing should be congratulated for being on the pace so soon after introducing their own power unit- an amazing achievement and credit to Horner and the Milton Keynes team.
Here s to a great race.
Date(s): Friday 3 to Sunday 5 July 2026
UK Broadcast Timings (and track time)
All sessions are live on Sky F1 and Channel 4.

2025 Highlights: Norris win, biblical rain, Piastri penalty

Don't care who wins as long as it's Hamilton, Russel and Norris on the podium again. Perfect. Rule Britannia. Maybe Norris for the win as then we have a British manufacturer as well.
Oh, and someone stuffs it up the inside on Max to send him off into the gravel for a piece of his own medicine for a bonus point and to liven up the post race interviews with his whinging.

Thanks Piap!
But you've added the race result from Miami, not Silverstone '25. Lando won last year.
Thanks BN-much appreciated But you've added the race result from Miami, not Silverstone '25. Lando won last year.

Are you trying to Gaslight us ?

Lewis always goes well at Silverstone, throw in a bit of rain and ever optimistic me has gone for Lewis again...
Realistally, both RB seem to be going well, Mercs are back to being unbelieveably quick again and with the long straights they'll probably walk off into the distance agaon. McLaren must get sorted with their issues soon?
The new start procedure has killed Ferrari's advantage at the start.

Thanks PiaP. Much obliged.
The highlight of this season is just how open it is. We've have consistent wins by Merc but the remaining field is wide open, with all sorts of chances for the teams to get some points. (Teams not conforming to these possibilities are available.) It's my favourite circuit, purely for the memories of watching it live; in rain, snow, wind and stifling heat. Despite the toilets and the cost, it's a great event to go to.
