GR86 - which wheels and tyres

Hi all
After a long time looking, I test drove and bought a blue GR86 at the weekend. The only fly in the ointment is the fact that it is wearing winter tyres at present. I’ll be using it for track days every now and then, so I’m keen to source and fit some new lightweight wheels and tyres and keep the winters for, well, winter.
What track day tyres suit the car? I think it comes with PS4 from the factory in a 8” width. If I go a bit wider and /or stickier, will it ruin the handling? I quite like it’s liveliness on the road at low speeds but I imagine it would get a bit annoying on track to be continually correcting and unable to get power down fully. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks!
