Is it possible to reject this car?

Ok so my daughter in law came by yesterday telling me of issues with her car and dealer and wanting to know what to do.
Car is a 2021 A3 TFSI-E with 76k and brought 7 months ago from a local independent. She also purchased the top of the range warranty which cost a grand on top. Car was 15.3k. No finance.
When checking fluids she noticed a reservoir is empty and has a factory seal on it,so she ran it back to the garage she brought it from and they didn’t even open the bonnet. They basically said it was the coolant for the hybrid motor and they don’t touch those so she would have to take it to a main dealer. After confirming with main dealer it should not be empty and it is the motor coolant it is booked in on 24th for a proper diagnostic.
This is not the first problem with the car. The rear locks went weird for a few days then resolved themselves and another couple of gremlins.
An internet search has revealed known issues with Audi electric motors and one of the early signs appears to be random electrical issues.
I asked if the warranty covered hybrid motors and was told it did up to 1k (which seems pointless) but more worrying than that was why have they sold her a warranty for something they refuse to work on? To me this warranty was the wrong product for the car.
So ultimately she wants to know if she has any rights to reject the car and get (most) of her money back. She has covered less than 4K in the 7 months,so possibly based on that it could be shown as a pre-existing fault?
I also know Audi have been paying out under goodwill for these faults but might be in with a battle. She definitely does not want a possible 8k bill to replace the motor.
What do we think?

She would have to prove the fault was present at time of sale, to successfully reject after 6 months. With the above so far from the OP, I'd say there isn't enough evidence to do that and it would not be worth commissioning an independent inspection in the hope of finding such evidence either.

She paid a £1000 for a warranty where the maximum claim limit is also £1000? ouch.
I suspect her chances of rejecting this car, especially after 6 months of ownership is zero and she would be throwing good money after bad trying to pursue it. If it were me I would be finding a reputable VAG specialist and taking it there to get them to inspect it. I wouldn't want to go to a main dealer in the first instance

Based on your description you have no grounds for rejection, and even if the faults were significant, the onus is on the owner to prove the faults were present at the time of sale once six months has passed.

I did say to her there wasn’t much hope of rejection but thought the fairly low miles done in those 7 months may have had a bearing.
Oh well will see what Audi say in a few weeks. I guess after that she will look at options,including independent garages but as it’s the electric motor that may be tricky
