Chimaera windscreen wiper

Hi all, I’m a new TVR owner having purchased my 1998 chimaera last week. Just doing a bit of tinkering and replaced the windscreen wipers. Is it normal for the passenger side to protrude comically out past the curved profile of the window glass? I.e only 1/2 of the blade is in contact with glass in parked position. Or is it that the blades are not compatible or the arm is incorrect or needs some alteration. Note the blades are both 16”.

It's one of those 'they all do that sir' moments. Some reckon the aero type blades are better, but I haven't tried them.

I very rarely use mine in any rain so accept the issue. Some Rainx on the screen helps reduce the juddering when I use the washers to remove dust.
