As per the title. there seems to be various A110 models, Pure, Legend etc
Is one a "faster" model, one a more "touring" car and one a "base" model?
Thanks

I've done a summary of A110 model variants over the years. It can be found here. Perhaps that could help s little bit?

Top man, thank you.
Just started considering one despite loving the look and idea for a long time.

There's a Pure relatively near me but not sure that's the car that best suits me. A road car not a race car so the better trim may be preferable.
Could do with looking at actual selling prices and maybe what the seller may expect when selling, private/trade in maybe?

It's either an A110 or an integrale which after so many different cars may become my last forever car at the age of 73.
Very different cars but probably my two "dream cars", I've had a Caterham, TVRs, Boxster, Lotus(Lotii?) and it's time to scratch a new and possibly permanent itch.

Thanks for that, it's a great summary. Lot's of info I've never known before.

If you want to update sales numbers for Australia, I believe 83 were imported (and eventually sold) before changing airbag / safety laws made the cars non compliant.

Thanks for that information. Do you have a source for this number? As I've said in the article, the A110 sales figures by country published by Alpine are not complete for the smaller countries. This is because on some year's Alpine has bundled sales of countries with small number of cars sold into one bucket "other": Australia is a country where the published numbers for different years are as follows:

- 2018: 32
- 2019: 35
- 2020: data not available
- 2021: data not available
- 2022: 4
- 2023 onwards: no data

I'm (very) lucky enough to currently own one of each. I've had the Lancia for 20 years (my second Delta), and the Alpine for just over 14 months. The A110 S I use most days, the Integrale comes out occasionally for a warm up and then back in the box, it really isn't a car you'd want to use as a daily, too fragile.

If you're not carrying large items (or lots of people) then the Alpine is a no brainer. Also when comparing values you wouldn't get one of the better Lancias for the same money as an A110, which already shows all of the traits of a modern classic in the making.

Over on the integrale forum some folk say they do better for being used however I haven't seen one here in and around Oban in the 8 years I've been here whereas a guy in town had an A110 although haven't seen it for a few weeks.

Done an advantages and disadvantages of both (in my head).

And if this weather continues I can see an integrale dissolving very quickly as it's raining again this morning despite the rest of the UK basking in sunny weather.

I'm visiting Oban this week in my A110 (arriving tomorrow) so let me know if you want to look/sit/have a run out in one!

use an Integrale in Scotland over winter and you'll soon be left with a pile of dust, two acrylic number plates and four black rubber rings

Hi and thanks for the offer, it was the Lancia I'd never seen over here, there was an A110 here for a while, BUT if you're here for a few days it would extremely helpful to have a proper look around one.
If you could drop me a line, I'll call over, I'm a few miles north of Oban, but will call over if you let me know where you're staying.
Thanks very much

Big Big thank you to LE62NDE for a very helpful tour and run out in his beautiful Alpine
Thoughts:
It's extremely pretty and individual externally.
It's very well made internally with no frills compared to many cars.
The computer options will likely confuse me being an old git, more used to analogue.
Acceleration is Caterham like, I was surprised, seemed much much quicker than a Boxster S I had. Almost stomach churning when not expecting it.
Carrying capacity is more limited than a Boxster, Tesco shopping may be compromised.
Engine accessibility is better than a Boxster (and an MGF, Lotus Esprit and a few others)
I can get in and out without rolling on the floor as the doors open so wide. Another bonus, nothing quite spoils the arrival than rolling onto the ground to get out of a low car.
I need to buy the exact model, colour & spec I want as it's difficult to upgrade. ie change seats from a Pure to those of a Legende or Comfort pack. This could take time.
I need to sell the Volvo to help fund any purchase which will also take time.
What a car.

It was good to meet you, talk cars, and look over/demonstrate the A110. Sorry about the acceleration! Good luck selling your Volvo P1800ES: it's a lovely car, in a great colour combination. Let us know how you get on with your search -the right car is out there, somewhere!
