Due to a significant change in summer plans, myself and 3 mates will be in Morzine for a week at the end of this month. We all enjoy decent food and drink, so any recommendations for places which are open in the summer? We’re staying fairly central, about 5 mins walk from the Pleney.

TIA.

I can’t remember the name of the restaurant, possible Le Flame? but it’s right by the footbridge across the valley above the swimming pool on the left hand side of facing away from Pleny slopes. Very very good on the many times I’ve been there both summers and winter. Highly recommended

Back in January we spent most of our evenings here, eating and drinking - a really great place with lovely staff, superb food and cracking beer (their coffee Porter is superb):

Another recommendation for Bec Jaune - the beer is very good indeed.

If you just fancy a burger then Le Colibri is very good…

Hey

We have a place in Morzine some of the places we go

Bec Jaune Brewery - Micro brewery, great food (mixture of Asian inspired stuff plus the best broccoli you will ever shove in your face)

KAMADO KITCHEN - another great Asian spot next to the Pleney, this place is tiny

O chalet - great burgers you can t book so just rock up

Le Local - bit further out but great mix of food (this is my local)

Pizza - either L'Improviste or Gusto e basta (I prefer improvise)

If you are wanting traditional Savoie food (fondue, raclette etc) there are a number of options - La Chaudanne is our go to as it’s near our place but Le Grange is also a great shout

Further afield if you are here on a Sunday recommend the BBQ at Hotel Du Lac by the lake in Montriond

Other Montriond recommendation is at the Brewery Tap at the Ibex Brewery
