Hi, I’m having a problem finding a heater switch for a Fiat in Italy!
Is there a chain similar to Euro car parts in Italy.
I’m currently in Croatia heading up through Trieste to lake Como.
I’ve tried Amazon using a locker for pick up but the delivery dates change to to long a wait.

Have you tried AutoDoc? https://www.auto-doc.it I would assume being in Italy that you wouldn’t be too far from a Fiat dealer.

I had similar bad luck ordering Alfa parts from a dealer fewer than thirty kilometres from Arese. It was quicker and cheaper to have them sent from a specialist in England.

EDIT - they arrived in two days.

I use Autodoc in France and Spain, decent prices and they've usually got several options when I need something. most of it is sent from Germany anyway so Italy shouldn't pose a problem for them.

I think auto doc are mail order?
I’m trying to pick up a new switch, without it we have no fan or aircon.

Amazon lockers looked good but the delivery dates change when I add one.

Cut the plug off, play with the wires, until you find the ones to connect for a setting you like and can live with until you get a permanent fix.

Bush mechanics alive and well lol.

Funnily enough I’ve opened the switch up and pulled a couple of contacts out, then soldered a small piece of wire on. I’ve got the fan on speed 3 permanently and that gives us air con as well.
I’d still like to get a new switch if possible while I’m away.
I found a 30 year old gas soldering iron in my tool box that still had gas in it.
