I'm currently using the Jabra Elite Sport earbuds......but annoyingly the tips I have just don't fit properly and it's starting to do my head in. I've bought replacements from Amazon, but they're cheap imitations that also don't do the job.

Reason I like these earbuds is that it tracks your run and heart rate, and gives voice readouts every 1km, telling you speed, time, heart rate and whatever else you might want. This all happens through the Jabra App, but they discontinued this heart rate feature many years ago, so the app isn't supported any more and their latest earbuds don't do any of this.

So, are there any other earbuds that offer this? For me the voice readouts are essential........

The only ones I know of that do this are the Apple Airpod Pro 3's but I'm assuming you'd need to be part of the Apple Ecosystem to use them.

Not exactly what you asked for but a Garmin watch will do this, link your bluetooth headphones to it and it'll give you audible feedback on things like HR, distance, pace at a preset distance like a mile.

Ahhhh, ok, not sure why I thought it was only earbuds with heart rate function etc that would do that.

I might look into this, obviously opens up all the options for the ear buds.....

If you go the watch route, then a lot also have MP3 players built in that can download a playlist if you have a Spotify, Deezer or Amazon Music subscription too. Garmin also have Garmin Pay (like apple/android pay) which means I can go for a run without my phone and still have music and buy a coffee.

For headphones, take a look Trekz, thier bone conduction ones are great as you can still hear everything around you.

Garmin Pay was something I thought I'd never use, but has turned out to be pretty useful, however the list of banks that support it is a lit smaller than Apple or Android pay. I know Santander works with it, but not sure who else.

A cheaper option would be a hear rate monitor chest strap that pairs with your phone and then use the Strava app on your phone, which I believe should also be able to give you info via headphones but I've not tried it.

Apple watch then? My pixel watch pairs to any Bluetooth headphones and can do what you want. You have to buy two things though unless your old jabra headphones are still ok.

I used to love my Garmin watch, but you might like the better integration with your iPhone that comes from an apple watch.

I think you mean Shokz (which are excellent); Trekz are just their latest/lightest model. I have their OpenRun model and they are absolutely excellent; you can pair them to a Garmin watch and get updates on distance, pace etc.
