Good grief!

BBC said:
The leader of Restore Britain has been urged to apologise after describing the Dunblane school shooting as "one murder".

Rupert Lowe was criticising the UK's ban on handguns during an appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast. He said the ban came after "there was a murder in Dunblane".

Host Rogan clarified with Lowe that the ban was due to "one murder" and the Restore UK leader repeated that was the case.

Sixteen children and their teacher were killed in the 1996 mass shooting at Dunblane Primary School, one of the worst gun atrocities to happen in the UK.

He was presumably just shamelessly playing to a target audience in The US.

Some British "influencers" want to create an image of the UK as some sort of authoritarian nanny state full of violent crime(and run by an islamic government under sharia law) to rile up nut-jobs in The US and some people on NP&E.

It seems that Reform and Restore are unable to keep their underlying character under wraps for long enough to have a long term impact on politics. Like Trump, there will be those that will support them however unacceptable their views are to the majority of the population, but they'll lose much of their ex Tory support. They need to take lessons from Keir on how to hide their underlying views from public view until they're in power.

Coalition is about the only hope left for some sort of rational politics in this country, or will it just lead to stasis?

I believe the VP went on Rogan’s show and repeated the lie there are 12,000 in prison for social media posts.

There's a high level agenda (Trump and his administration), Musk etc trying to misrepresent the UK much like you’ve described. Perhaps that’s why he managed to get a slot on the world’s most popular podcast.

As someone involved in shooting (shotgun licence), I’ll take our gun laws over those in the US, thanks.

If he really wanted to get Rogan worked up he should've told him we're being denied our stem cells.

As for the rest of this special person, all his existence is doing is splintering the swivel-eyed vote so he's a net positive.
