Tag Connected E5
Discussion
Anyone got one? I currently have a apple watch ultra 3, don't really use all the apple smart functions so was thinking of getting something a bit more premium looking. Probably the black titanium version with rubber strap as I have a nickel allergy.
I like getting notifications etc but not so bothered about music, maps etc on my watch and I see that the new E5 version is now iphone friendly.
I know having a smart watch is going a bit against the watch purists, but I do use the notifications etc very often and find them handy as I always have my iphone on silent mode so will often miss calls and texts.

It's the battery life that puts me off, my Huawei GT watch can eek out about 2 weeks between charges if necessary, the Tag offerings seem to max out at two days or less than a day if using it beyind telling the time now and again.
As a device I rarely remove because I like the fact it's constantly monitoring and reporting on stuff I wouldn't want to have to worry about charge all the time.
It's a shame though, I'd love something a bit more premium, the build on the higher end Huawei stuff is great but it's not quite the same as owning a premium timepiece.

I know where you're coming from. But my Ultra 3 is being charged every other day, so I don't think the Tag would be any different on that respect? As a device I rarely remove because I like the fact it's constantly monitoring and reporting on stuff I wouldn't want to have to worry about charge all the time.

I previously had a Amazfit smart watch that had a 3 week battery, not sure why other 'premium' manufacturers can't get anywhere near that sort of charge time?
