Bisoprolol

Anyone else having problems with this?

I've been on Bisoprolol, Eplerenone & Valsartan for a couple of yrs now following a heart failure diagnosis.

The last yr or so I've been suffering from increased congestion, phlegm, sleeplessness, vasodilation, breathlessness, dizziness (we reduced the Valsartan wich seemed to help with dizziness) some odd bruising to the chest along with lower energy levels.

I'm my mind (rightly or wrongly) I'm blaming an intolerance to Bisoprolol. Anyhow I've an appointment coming up at the heart failure clinic to discuss, I've not managed to get very far with the GP.

I am on eplerenone and bisoprolil too along with a few others and also suffering from fatigue etc. A recent blood test though has shown low potassium which is now being looked at.

You need to be reviewed by the cardiology team.

Or, if you've never been seen by the cardiology team, then you need to be seen by them.

GP -> refer.
