Fun route suggestions?

Hi all,
Originally from UK - Living in Ireland.
Heading back to the UK at the end of August to see family. I'm bringing my motorbike and heading from Fishguard to Bromsgrove. Was wondering if you had any suggestions for a fun/scenic route to take. Or do I just tell google maps to avoid motorways?
Door to door it's a 3 hr 30 drive, but I'd be in no rush to get to Bromsgrove and land in Fishguard at an early time, so I'm happy for it to be a 5 hr journey or more.
