Hello all

When my Autel stopped working I bought a new X-Tool diagnostic tablet.

It claims compatibility with the DB9 and has all the SW modules for it.

I can read the VIN and see the P-ECU and S-ECU on the tablet but all other modules like AC, TPMS etc give me a "Communication Failure"

I checked the ODBII fuse F57 and it is ok.

Can't figure out why I cannot connect to the car beyond the basic VIN read.

X-Tool customer support is beyond hopeless.

Thanks

Paul

You need to try the other obd port on the passenger side.

I had the same issue on my Vanq 2 with the launch tool

Now I am totally embarrassed. I looked for the mythical second ODBII port and didn't think to pull down the passenger side under glovebox fabric.

I owe you a pint. Thank you.
