No doubt this has been discussed before but i can't find it. Anyone had trouble with the 12 volt battery on a Yaris Cross going flat after a few days of the car not used ?

If so is a battery power pack the answer and how easy is it to connect? Video I have seen looks a little awkward if my wife had to connect it.
Thanks

I gather that it is a known issue with Toyota hybrids (assuming that is what it is), though it going flat in a few days does seem quite quick. It may be that the battery needs replacing and then maintaining.

Presumably you've found the answer, but if you haven't.

If the car isn't being used, or only local journeys where it only runs for minutes at a time, it's good practice to once a week switch the power on resulting in READY displayed on the dash and leave it like that for an hour if possible, allowing the hybrid battery to top the 12v battery up.
