Collecting a 987.1s next week, while comparing quotes their market valuations seem extremely low. Any advice? And are expensive agreed value policies worth it.

Are they all limited to 5000 miles, the few I tried are? Any recommendations of companies

I just use the comparator sites, scrutinise the details of the policy and go from there.

When taking out the policy they will ask for a value, I screenshot that page and archive it. Not the same as an agreed value policy, but IMO it forms part of the contract and as such would give you a better chance of winning a fight with your insurer if it came to that.

If your car is in unusually good condition I recommend taking a decent number of photos on a regular basis. The one time I had a car stolen the recent (less than 2 months) photos helped in achieving a sensible settlement.

That's what I was thinking of doing and adding any documentation of work done by specialist prior to purchase and including their clean borescore inspection to justify the value of the car. The 5000 miles feels very limited.
