When driving my chimaera I see always my bonnet dancing around, moving up and down.
This is annoying me so I checked the reason for it, it's clear it's only secured on one side. To tackle this I need to think of something which will hold on the other side, with no idea how I want it to be I went for a hardware store and searched for a magnetic option. Well I found a big magnetic door catcher which I believe it could do the trick. At home I checked te possibilities and was thinking about several difficult ways when it popped my mind, why not glue it in the bonnet and make the base plate connected to the parafan (do not know the English word for this). So that's what I have done, even to my own surprise it works beautifully. The bonnet keeps still my hole drive of around 150km, with speeding above 100mph / 160kmh. So if someone is also irritated with it's bouncing bonnet, you can solve this for around €3,50 and 10 minutes of work. Enjoy!

I do like these homemade improvement ideas and the simple ones are usually the best.

Peter Wheeler designed the cars with the minimum development so it's always been up to the owners...

My Griffith bonnet did the same until I fitted a front splitter, think it creates a negative pressure under the bonnet effectively holding it down.

Seemed to be more sure footed at motorway speeds as well

Hope its of some help anyway :-)
