Newby gen 1 GR CP Owner

Hi all ,

I'm soon to collect my 2022 GR CP car and having watched the usual YouTube videos I'm wondering if tyres are still tricky to get hold of ?

Wondering if it's worth buying some well before needed and storing them.

225/40 R18?

If so then there's no issue. PS4s if you want OEM, but a bit pricey (£150 @). SC7 if you want a bit more sporty but with less longevity, offset by the price differential (£103@)

Yes standard wheels.

The car is on PS4's currently so my thinking was to stick with these as the plan is to use the car more in winter & they get good overall reviews.


Have been wanting a GR for a while so really looking forward to having the car.

Wanted a standard car too so if I ever want to I can make my own changes.

Possibly go for the Litchfield suspension upgrade but not sure I'd go for the remap .
