Backbencher until 2029 then either the Lords or some kind of international human rights organisation (or both). Rishi Sunak is still in the commons, so now 2 former PMs on the back benches. I think the recent record is probably around 2023 with May, Truss and Johnson around, but still perhaps more than usual.

Why would they need to do that? When Sunak wanted David Cameron as foreign secretary he just gave him a peerage.

He's on record as saying he prefers Davos to Westminster. As others have said I'd happily chip in to fly him somewhere else permanently. fking waste of space as PM.

Because a Labour government being “a party of the people” would want a holder of one of the great offices of state to be in the Commons
