Really need to see the Bourne Identity first. It will make more sense then.

Great films.

Part three, The Bourne Ultimatum gets filmed next gear

only my opinion - but I do think you could watch the sequel without seeing the original one. I thought the second was pretty much the same as the first one anyway. Worth watching though.

Bedford

I did the same thing today in Sainsbury...great minds and what a bargain!!!

I saw the first film but so long ago I can't remember so I'm sure it wont be a problem. Maybe get the synopsis from a film web site first though!!!

You don't need to no, but it helps. You can get the first one cheap now too btw, it'd be daft not too

Btw, what happened on EVO forum, you left all of a sudden?

You need to watch the first one first definitely.

In my opinion the Bourne identity is a better film and you will spoil watching it, if you watch the 2nd one first.

Really good films, but you need to see them in order.

You don't avsolutely have to see them in order but the 2nd will make more sense if you do and the 1st is best seen "cold", if you know what I mean...

The film has absolutely no relation to the book... The book is mostly set in Hong Kong for a start !

i'd say you could watch supremacy without identity BUT you'd get less out of the esperience than watching in order..!

best bit of identity is the fact you empathise with our Jase - not having a clue what's going on...supremacy is him getting his own back on baddies...

I think you need to see the first one as the entire story of the second one builds on it.

I thought that might be your answer, someone posting under your username on there the other day is all. No harm done, they seemed to enjoy themselves trolling away.

There was also a Bedford Rascal mentioned on Snif Petrol once as well, as a AA spokesman I think (vaguely remember)

I have got the first one but wont be buying the second. I watched it recently and didnt like the fight scenes as much as they kept shaking the camera to make it seem more dramatic, it just put me off

Yeah but the book is set in a specific time period, through the '70s, and unless they made a movie about the past it wouldn't work, because of the Chinese reunification being a central element and all that, so they updated it.

I think it was better done that way, books and movies are vastly different story telling mediums and what works on one doesn't always work on the other, so I think it wouldn't have been as good if it had followed the book too closely, like most other film adaptions. Apart from a few basic plot structures its basically completely different from the book and better for it I say.
