BABE2006 Rally. New York to New Orleans.

As some of you know I organise S2N and H2R (check my link for details). However, as I now partly live out in the States and because I have so many friends who want me to do something similar out there - I have put together our first US event.
Its called the BABE Rally and runs between New York and New Orleans*.
To qualify for the event you must have acquire a car costing less than $250. It must be safe and road legal.
The event is not a race. If you want to race - go find a track. This event is for enthusiasts to drive across a not inconsiderable distance coaxing a car to its very end. If the car even makes it to the start line - you just are not trying hard enough ;)

* The use of BABE (Big Apple 2 Big Easy) has been used recently by various Hurricane Katrina appeals. We named our event BABE some months earlier and checking the whois details on the domain registratoin will bear this out. More details are on the website.
