And it’s sending me stir crazy already.

In the world’s most stupid accident I snapped my Achilles tendon putting my bike onto the centre stand. Of course it had to be my right leg so I can’t even drive.

I’ve had to cancel one weekend away with the lads already.

My wife can’t drive so my kids are killing themselves that they’re taking the oldies to the garden centre for coffee and cake about 20 years early.

Sorry for your loss.

I really feel for you. I found myself in the same predicament a couple of months ago. There is light at the end of the tunnel though.

I won't have my bike back for another 2 weeks and I'm itching like a dope fiend. 2 months you have my thoughts and prayers.

GS 1300 normally a piece of cake on solid ground.

But I turn it on a turntable on top of artificial grass in my back garden. Because it’s not completely rigid the extra flexing below the stand seems to make it more difficult sometimes. I put pressure on the stand with my right foot, went to pull it up and…ping.

Feel your pain literally. I had a bad RTA in early May due to someones utter stupidity that I somehow survived & have been laid up ever since. Never known pain both physical & mental like it, let alone the sleepless nights. I didn’t realise for a time how badly hurt I am and naively thought that I would be going to World Ducati Week at beginning of July with the 1098S.
Lots of bikes been going through the district all the time and several local bike meets that I ve missed out on, let alone the every Sunday ride out to meet my pals. Feels like life has passed me by, I’m So F off.

I don’t know how you deal with the sort of injuries you’ve had. You’re a lot stronger mentally than I am. Keep going I’m sure you’ll come out the other end the right way.
